About

Greetings, all ye lovers of thrift and food (presumably, it is your love of such things that has led you to chance upon our humble little site). We don’t know if you know – so do forgive us if this sounds patronising – but good, cheap food can be found in places other than the bins round the back of The Horny Mallard (or whatever Heston’s little venture is called these days).

If you did know, stick around and pitch in – you’re the kind of people we enjoy. If you didn’t, we may still enjoy you but you have a lot to learn.

Within these thrifty web-walls you’ll find some great places to go feed your face, shop-bought goodies with which to feed your face, entertaining and informative blogs to help you feed your face, and just basically lots of really great stuff to ensure your face and wallet remain sufficiently full from this day forward.

Roll up your sleeves and register. And if you have any questions, comments or woes, direct them here:
